It seems to be the summer of Sol Ruca, as the "WWE NXT" Women's North American Champion retained her gold at the Great American Bash.

Sol Ruca and Zaria opened Friday's episode of "WWE SmackDown" with their main roster debuts ahead of WWE's upcoming Evolution II event.

Ruca made her in-ring debut just three months after reporting. It was a hot first year, and she went viral when she debuted the Sol Snatcher, a springboard flip cutter that stunned fans.

Ruca has certainly caught the eye of wrestlers on all levels of WWE. Jordynne Grace, who has officially been with the company for six months, has noticed who is the future of the company in NXT.
