A lengthy red flag was needed to repair the guardrail after a massive crash in the closing stages of the NASCAR Xfinity race

McDowell made his first Xfinity Series start in over nine years. His previous start came at Road America where he drove for Hill’s team, Richard Childress Racing, and won the Wisconsin road course. He was hoping for a similar result for Kaulig Racing, but the crash ended his race early.
