Lando Norris extended his title lead over Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen as Verstappen finished third after starting from the pit lane at the São Paulo Grand Prix on Sunday. Norris won from pole as Kimi Antonelli held off Verstappen for second.

Series leader Lando Norris grabbed his first sprint pole position of the season on Friday (local time) to keep his title hopes on track as he topped qualifying ahead of Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli and his McLaren teammate and rival Oscar Piastri.
