Most of the 10 stations going to Gray are located in the south and midwest and will create duopolies across Gray’s existing portfolio, which includes 180 local stations in 113 markets.

Gray Media has purchased 10 local TV stations, including WREX in Rockford, from Byron Allen Media for $171 million, subject to regulatory approval.
