Dow, S&P 500 futures are falling, the Nasdaq Composite is rising in premarket trading Tuesday as stock markets await retail sales data and a raft of Federal Reserve speakers.

The artificial-intelligence focused rally is supported by earnings and has room to run, said analysts at BlackRock Investment Institute, in a Monday note.

Thanks to CRM stock's gains, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.2% to 38,886. The S&P 500, meanwhile, slipped 0.02% to 5,352, while the Nasdaq Composite shed 0.09% to 17,173.

Oil futures settle higher despite an unexpected 3.7 million barrel build in U.S. crude stocks and the IEA's downgrade of its demand growth estimate to 960,000 barrels a day from 1.1 million barrels a day, but with support from a below-estimate U.S. inflation reading for May.

Stocks were mostly lower to begin a holiday-shortened week on Monday. Gains for megacap tech shares helped buoy the Nasdaq, while non-tech-related stocks continued their recent underperformance. Dow Jones Industrial Average down 70 points,
