Less than a day after the Federal Bureau of Investigation added a new fugitive to its Ten Most Wanted List, authorities say she is now in custody. The agency was offering a $1 million reward for information that leads to the arrest of 50-year-old KaShawn Nicola Roper.

Law enforcement sources, not authorized to discuss the matter, told The Times the searches are part of a long-term federal public corruption probe.
