Frontier Airlines said a growing number of passengers are requesting the use of wheelchairs in order to get priority board but who otherwise don't need them.

Frontier Airlines is taking a stand against passengers whom it claims are feigning disability to request wheelchair services and skip ahead of other customers in airport security and aircraft boarding lines.

"There is massive, rampant abuse," Barry Biffle said, adding that on some flights 20 people ask for help to board the plane, with only three doing so on arrival.
