It's easy to assume that John Cena will overcome Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza on the first-ever WWE livestreaming event on ESPN and move on to the next opponent as his retirement tour comes to a close.

Friday evening's edition of WWE SmackDown saw a heated in-ring confrontation between John Cena and Logan Paul. The 17-time world champion and the social media star are set to do battle at the upcoming Clash in Paris Premium Live Event on the 31st of August.

Paul signed with WWE in June 2022 and has made regular appearances on PLEs over the years. Cena is just one of several top stars he's faced, with matches against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio also in his catalogue.
