THANE, May 24 -- The Supreme Court of India has upheld the arrest of K Rajasekhar Reddy, a key accused in the Rs 3,200 crore Andhra Pradesh liquor scam.

The Supreme Court upheld the arrest of K Rajasekhar Reddy, linked to a Rs 3,200-crore liquor scam in Andhra Pradesh. The court dismissed his petition, stating no merit.

Jamardhana Reddy was arrested by the CBI on September 5, 2011 and released on bail by the Supreme Court after spending nearly three and a half years in prison, on January 20, 2015.
