Lego announces Nintendo Game Boy set: When does it come out?
On July 23, Lego announced the release of a Lego Game Boy Model Building Set, which is a near 1:1 scale replica of the original Game Boy, first released in 1989. The build is now available for pre-order starting on July 24, according to Lego. It will be available for purchase on Oct. 1.
Pre-Order Lego’s New Game Boy Set Before It’s Too Late
The 1:1 Game Boy replica (of the O.G. device, not the Color, mind you) is set to release on October 1 of this year, and retails for $59.99. Nintendo announced yesterday that pre-orders would go live today; however, as of roughly 11:00 a.m. EST, there are no units available on Lego’s site. Alas, good ol’ Amazon is here to bail us out again.
