An $8 billion-dollar class action investors’ lawsuit against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and company leaders began Wednesday, with claims stemming from the privacy scandal involving the Cambridge Analytica political consulting firm.

Mark Zuckerberg is slated to make yet another high-stakes courtroom appearance this week as shareholders seek to hold him accountable for the more than $8 billion that Meta has spent to settle lawsuits over privacy violations.

The lawsuit targets billionaires including Zuckerberg, Sheryl Sandberg, Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel and Reed Hastings—along with Biden’s former chief of staff.
