The new season of The Voice will resume on Sept. 22 at 8PM ET. That means the show will maintain the Monday night slot it has held for years. While big changes are on the horizon for The Voice (more on that in a few), Season 28 will be business as usual with four coaches, battle rounds, knockout rounds and live shows until a winner is decided.

Snoop Dogg was the first confirmed coach for Season 28 of The Voice. The rapper previously served as a coach for the first time during Season 26 in 2024 and will be making his return after taking off for Season 27. He came in fifth place during his coaching debut.

"The Voice," "Brilliant Minds," "Law & Order," "Saturday Night Live" and other series will return with new seasons on NBC. "SNL" Season 51 debuts Oct. 4.

Clarkson is returning to the NBC competition series alongside Adam Levine and John Legend for The Voice: Battle of Champions.
