Nicole Westmoreland, a member of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ all-star defense team, told CNN in an exclusive interview on Tuesday that the music mogul’s team has reached out to the Trump administration about a potential pardon following his conviction on two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution last month.

President Donald Trump confirmed that somebody from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ camp reached out to him to request a pardon, but the following day, his legal team seemed confused as to who made the call. Nicole Westmoreland, an attorney on Diddy’s defense team, seemed to confirm that they had reached out.

Sean Combs was recently denied bail a third time as he awaits sentencing on Oct. 3 on two federal charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.
