A bald French bulldog named Petunia recently took the top prize in the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest at the Sonoma County Fair.

Eugene is home to the World's Ugliest Dog. Petunia, a hairless French bulldog, received her crown on Aug. 8 during the annual competition at the Sonoma County Fair, north of San Francisco.

Petunia won the $5,000 grand prize, beating out 10 other unconventional canines, including an 8-year-old Chinese Crested named Little Prince Wonder and a 13-year-old chihuahua named Nezumi.
