Russia launched waves of missiles and drones on Kyiv before dawn on Thursday, killing 16 people, including two children, and wounding well over 100 others, officials in the Ukrainian capital said.

An overnight Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv has killed at least 18 people, including a six-year-old boy, as well as wounding 159 others, according to Ukrainian officials, prompting United States President Donald Trump to slam Moscow’s actions as “disgusting.”

Russian troops also struck a five-story residential building in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, according to the head of Donetsk regional military administration.
