Severe weather on Aug. 8 could include damaging winds, large hail and even a couple tornadoes, forecasters said.

The thunderstorms on July 28 produced two damage-causing tornadoes in South Dakota, and a third in Iowa, according to the National Weather Service.

A frontal boundary slowly pushing through the northern tier of the country will be the focus of severe thunderstorms over the next couple of days, with thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes, hurricane-force wind gusts and very large hail.
