Blackstone Real Estate agrees to acquire Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor from Allegiant Travel Company for $200 million in a deal expected to close in Q3 2025.

Blackstone (NYSE: BX) and Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announced that funds affiliated with Blackstone Real Estate have agreed to acquire Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor from Allegiant for $200 million.

The hotel, which had become a drag on Allegiant’s profitability, will be sold to Blackstone at a steep discount.

Funds affiliated with Blackstone Real Estate, a division of the global investment company Blackstone, have agreed to acquire Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor from Allegiant Travel Company for $200m.

Allegiant has brokered a deal to sell its Sunseeker resort to Blackstone for $200 million, which should create some financial relief for the company after the property underperformed since opening in late 2023.

Blackstone is strengthening its hospitality portfolio by acquiring a recently built asset on the Gulf Coast of Florida for $200 million. The Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor, developed and sold by Allegiant Travel Company, was first delivered in December 2023.
