WORCESTER ― Yvette Digan was thrilled with her luck. At 22, the aspiring musician and law student from Hong Kong had been selected for a sponsored exchange program at Boston University.
Digan identifies that liquid as 190-proof Everclear. “I wasn’t even paying attention, and suddenly, I was on fire, screaming for my life,” Digan told Boston 25 News.
Donations made to the GoFundMe have so far totaled €3,455, or $4,029.11, with the goal of receiving €22,000, or $25,655.68 in total. Digan’s lawsuit names WPI, Zeta Psi and some of its members.
