The new business-calling feature uses AI to call local businesses on your behalf, for information about availability and pricing.

Google could soon make it easier to access your history of your chats with its AI Mode and even make those chats shareable.

Google has upgraded AI Mode within Google Search with Gemini 2.5 Pro model and Deep Search in AI Mode. Plus, Google added AI-powered local business calling to check on local pricing – an agentic search feature. These upgrades are rolling out in the US for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers.

AI Mode began rolling out to all Google users in May, and Deep Think was also announced as an option for the Gemini 2.5 Pro model at that time.

Also coming to AI Mode is Deep Research, the tool Google describes as its most advanced research tool. When using Gemini 2.5 Pro, you’ll see the Deep Research option in the prompt field. By activating Deep Research, you can ask more sophisticated queries and get back more detailed responses.

Google's Gemini AI Pro plan comes with 2TB of cloud storage and gives you access to advanced features like Deep Research, more limit in NotebookLM and Gemini for Workspace.

Google is rolling out Gemini to Wear OS watches. The announcement is part of Google’s plans to replace Google Assistant with Gemini across all of its devices and platforms.
