EA's DICE studio has blown the lid off the multiplayer for its upcoming military shooter Battlefield 6, and can join the fray today. Battlefield 6's first public beta is live right now for those with early access and will be available on two consecutive weekends. It's not too late to get join in, and here's how.

Battlefield 6 has an open beta kicking off this weekend on console and PC, but Sony is looking to attract a few players to PS5 by offering an exclusive soldier skin for the game's full launch. Downloading and playing the Battlefield 6 open beta on PS5 will get you the "Advance Party" skin, which will be added to the game in October.

If you play the Battlefield 6 open beta at all on PS5, you'll earn yourself the 'Advance Party' character skin, usable in the full game when it launches on 10th October. This is an exclusive bonus for those playing on PS5; if you play on PC or Xbox, you won't get this extra cosmetic.
