The World Economic Forum think tank opened its annual meeting in the Swiss town of Davos on Tuesday where political leaders and business leaders will discuss issues ranging from economic disparity to climate change to world conflicts.

The World Economic Forum in Switzerland has been dominated by President Donald Trump's ambition to take control of Greenland and his threat to impose tariffs on European countries that resist - all before the US president has arrived in Davos.
