A missing part of a wing from a Delta Air Lines 737 that landed Tuesday night at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, may have fallen on a nearby home’s driveway.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating whether an airplane part found in a Raleigh driveway came off a Delta Airlines flight, according to WTVD Raleigh.

Officials say the crew aboard the Delta flight from Atlanta to North Carolina had no idea that part of the plane's wing fell off until after landing.
