Maxwell Anderson, the man convicted of killing and dismembering Sade Robinson, has begun the process of appealing his life sentence.

"When you touched my daughter, you f----- with the wrong family," Robinson's mother said during the sentencing hearing

Anderson's attorney will request during Aug. 1 sentencing that his client should be eligible to seek parole in 25 years for killing Sade Robinson.

Maxwell Anderson addressed the Court at his sentencing and maintained his innocence in the murder of Sade Robinson.

Maxwell Anderson was in court Friday, Aug. 1, for sentencing in his convictions for first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse and arson in the death of 19-year-old Sade Robinson. First-degree intentional homicide carries a life sentence.

Sade Robinson, 19, was murdered in April of last year. Her dismembered body parts were found in the Milwaukee Area, and her arm was found at a Waukegan beach.
