Sources tell us that Skydance-Paramount is going to make official their corporate leadership team tomorrow morning. The combined company’s hierarchy is being announced early Monday ahead of the Aug. 7 merger date.

The merger clears the way for an $8.4 billion sale of some of the most prominent names in entertainment, including CBS, Paramount, and Nickelodeon.

Days before a new ownership team takes control of the company, Paramount Global reported second-quarter earnings that beat analysts’ estimates, crediting lower costs and growth in streaming profit.

Paramount Global squeezed out a small profit in its last quarter before an anticipated sale to Skydance Media, boosted in part by new subscriptions to the Paramount+ streaming service amid a period in which traditional revenue from advertising and cable distribution fell.
