Turning Point USA confirmed Saturday that Charlie Kirk's fall tour of college campuses would continue after the conservative commentator was killed at UVU.

The shooting comes amid a spike in attacks on political figures in the United States across all parts of the ideological spectrum.

Turning Point has released a statement, a day after political activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead during a campus event.

The effort appears to be part of a wider campaign from the group to "further Charlie Kirk’s legacy" after he was shot and killed while speaking at a campus event in Utah on Wednesday.
