Nantucket town officials have accused the developer of the nation’s first utility-scale offshore wind project of not responding to their safety queries since President Donald Trump’s election and a massive blade failure last year.

At a press conference Tuesday, town officials said Vineyard Wind has repeatedly failed to communicate critical information, and pollute the sky with its turbines’ lights.
