With Meta Connect arriving soon, Reality Labs will showcase some impressive VR prototypes, laying the path for the Quest 4 (or Quest 5) to replace your TV.

The Meta Quest 3 and 3S VR headsets offer great features and functionality for those interested in breaking into the virtual reality space.

Meta previewed some of its latest virtual reality prototypes this week and plans to demo them at next week’s SIGGRAPH conference. The aim, according to Meta’s blog post, is to offer VR experiences “indistinguishable from the physical world” — something it says no present-day VR system has yet done.

In its latest endeavor, Meta unveiled Tiramisu, a new headset prototype that it says is the closest it’s gotten to “passing the visual Turing Test.” In nerd lingo, that means its headset is inching towards tricking the eyes into thinking that a virtual world is actually a real one.
