Marvel Rivals is currently down for maintenance as players eagerly await the addition of Blade to the game – but when will the servers be back online and is there a scheduled maintenance period?

Season 3.5 of Marvel Rivals is finally here, and I cannot wait to waste away this weekend trying out the Blade and slashing my way through the enemy team. Yet before I get carried away, I'm going to make sure my Sony setup is armed with PS5 accessories and prepared for the days ahead.

Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 will last approximately one month, in keeping with NetEase's new plans for shorter seasons, and the season roadmap shows Marvel Rivals Season 4 beginning on Sept.12.

But if you only care about rewards you can earn in-game, a Phoenix skin is available by progressing through the competitive ladder and new looks for Groot and Rocket Raccoon are available for free on the season 3 battle pass. There are currently 11 free skins available. Here's how you get them:

As of August 8 2025, Marvel Rivals is down for maintenance. During this time, servers will get ready for the Season 3.5 patch, a major mid-season update. Players will be unable to access the launcher or queue into any games until it is finished.
