Borussia Dortmund have stepped up their pursuit of Renato Veiga once again as the club scramble to bring in cover for Niklas Sule before the summer transfer deadline. Sule hobbled out of Dortmund’s pre-season clash with Juventus on Sunday and the Germany centre-back is expected to be sidelined for around two months with a torn calf muscle.

Borussia Dortmund’s defensive worries have deepened with central defender Niklas Süle expected to be out for two months with a right calf injury sustained during a friendly game against Juventus
