A bull moose first spotted in Evans on Tuesday morning that then evaded capture in Greeley later in the day was finally sedated and relocated Wednesday morning.

COLORADO (KCNC) — Greeley police and Colorado Parks and Wildlife are asking people to avoid Josephine B. Jones Park after wildlife officials unsuccessfully tried to capture a moose.

A bull moose first spotted in Evans on Tuesday morning that then evaded capture in Greeley later in the day was finally sedated and relocated Wednesday morning. The moose was captured around 10 a.m.
