A number of Guitar Hero developers and even the founders of the franchise are teaming up to create a brand new rhythm game.

Now, RedOctane will be known as RedOctane Games and will operate under its new parent company, Fellowship Entertainment, previously known as Embracer Freemode, in the next era of its rhythm-based mission, with Charles and Kai Huang returning as part of a special advisory board.

A group of veteran Guitar Hero developers and founders of the franchise have reunited to launch a fresh rhythm gaming venture. Operating under the label RedOctane Games, this team aims to advance the rhythm genre with a modern twist.

It feels like the rhythm game genre has enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence in recent years, especially when you consider the likes of Fortnite Festival and the array of new guitar peripherals that have been getting released on Xbox and beyond - and now a new studio called RedOctane Games is ready to take advantage of that momentum.

RedOctane Games is back and ready to make more rhythm games. The studio announced its re-launch today and said it is already in production on its first title. Charles and Kai Huang, who co-founded the original RedOctane back in 1999 and launched the Guitar Hero franchise,
