Apple's native Calculator app is finally available on iPad in iPadOS 18, and with it come new UI elements and support for mathematical notation through the Math Notes feature.

Math is going to be a lot easier on the iPad now.Apple announced at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference keynote on Monday that it will finally be bringing the Calculator app to the iPad, receiving praise from those in attendance and on social media.

On its face, the app looks a lot like the calculator you might be familiar with from iOS. But it also supports Apple Pencil, meaning that you can write down math problems and the app will solve them thanks to a feature Apple calls Math Notes.
