Iran executes two men: one accused of spying for Israel’s Mossad, another for plotting sabotage as a member of the Islamic State group.

Israel’s leadership views its 12-day war with Iran last month as a success – several Iranian military leaders were killed, Iran’s defensive military capabilities were weakened, and the United States was convinced to take part in a raid on the Iranian nuclear site at Fordow.

Executions of Iranians convicted of spying for Israel has significantly increased this year, with at least eight death sentences carried out in recent months. The report said Vadi had “committed a wide range of crimes against the country’s internal and external security which have caused severe disruption to public order”.
