Newcastle are looking to complete deals for two strikers as Man Utd close in on the signing of RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, according to reports. The Magpies have had a difficult transfer window as Eddie Howe and his transfer team keep missing out on their top targets with Anthony Elanga and Aaron Ramsdale their main arrivals this summer.

United have repeatedly demonstrated an ability to attract top talent despite suffering their worst Premier League campaign in club history. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo both credited the historic allure of the competition’s most successful club after signing for a side which finished 15th last term.

Benjamin Sesko seems to have picked his team between Newcastle United and Manchester United. As per Sky Sports News, The 22-year-old striker from RB Leipzig is leaning toward a move to Man United, despite Newcastle making the bigger offer. Both Premier League clubs have been pushing hard to sign the Slovenian forward.
