Apple has long partnered with Sony to sell its PlayStation controllers, which can pair with Apple devices, and they're getting a big quality-of-life update later in 2025 — multiple device pairing.

Each DualSense can be simultaneously paired with up to four devices following the next PlayStation 5 system update.

PlayStation has just released details on the next beta PS5 system update and as it teased some time ago, it adds the ability for DualSense controllers to connect to multiple devices at once, and it also adds a new lower power mode that will work with certain games and use up less power from your console.

The latest PS5 system update will allow DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers to be paired across multiple devices simultaneously.
