Next year, a new exhibition will open at the King's Gallery in Buckingham Palace to mark the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth. It will, according to the Royal Collection Trust, be the "largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion ever mounted."

The exhibition, featuring items from her childhood through to the decades of her long reign, will coincide with the centenary of her birth. Among the items in Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style will be her wedding dress, made in 1947 by the designer Sir Norman Hartnell.

The largest ever collection of jewellery and clothing belonging to the late Queen Elizabeth II will go on display next year to mark 100 years since her birth. Among the 200 items being included in the special exhibition include Her late Majesty's wedding dress and coronation gown.
