The man accused of killing an “American Idol” executive and her husband used the couple’s gun to kill them and later called the police, authorities allege.

Award-winning “American Idol” music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, appear to have been victims of a gruesome double murder in their Los Angeles home.

The LAPD arrested Encino resident Raymond Boodarian as a suspect in the double homicide on Tuesday. Police said he may have entered the home through an unlocked door. When the residents arrived home, a “confrontation ensued, which resulted in the suspect taking their lives,” police said.
