President Donald Trump is reported to have a net approval rating of -7.6%, which is the lowest of his second term in office, according to the latest poll released by ActiVote last week.

On July 31, Trump imposed sweeping new tariffs on imports from trading partners across the world, causing U.S. stock markets to close lower on Aug. 1. But there haven’t yet been new polls to show whether this move affected Trump’s approval rating.
