On July 19, at Wembley Stadium, Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) once again showed why he is the number one heavyweight, stopping Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) in the fifth round of their undisputed heavyweight title clash.

Tyson Fury revealed that he would return to the ring ahead of the clash between Usyk and Dubois, while some fans have been calling for Anthony Joshua to get another opportunity at the heavyweight crown. However, the WBO now appears to have made Usyk’s decision for him.

The WBO first ordered Usyk to face Parker in March, but Usyk, who held the WBO, WBA and WBC titles at the time, was able to go ahead with his bout with IBF champion Daniel Dubois to crown an undisputed champion. Usyk crushed Dubois on July 19, scoring a fifth-round knockout.
