The aim of the IAEA's visit is to "determine a framework for cooperation" after Iran suspended its ties with the watchdog in early July.

Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi announced that negotiations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will be held on Sunday to determine a framework for cooperation but no nuclear site visits are planned and any collaboration will be based on Iran’s parliamentary law.

The deputy head of the UN nuclear watchdog was set to arrive in Tehran on Monday for the first visit since Iran suspended co-operation with the body last month, but Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said no inspections were planned.
