Las Vegas Sands Corp. is targeting Southeast Asia’s young and wealthy as it kicks off an ambitious $8 billion expansion of its luxury resort in Singapore that’s core to the casino operator’s future growth plans.

Since opening in 2010, Marina Bay Sands—which was developed at a cost of $5.6 billion—has been a key growth driver for Las Vegas Sands.

The project is scheduled to commence in June 2025 and is expected to be completed by June 2030, with the estimated official opening planned for January 2031.
