The summer transfer window finally came to life for most Premier League clubs in July. The British transfer record was broken in June, but it felt like the incomings came thicker and faster in the year's seventh month.

It’s been a typically busy summer for Premier League clubs so far, with over £1.77bn ($2.34bn) spent on transfers and more stars could be on the move this month.

Barely has the final whistle gone in the Fifa Club World Cup final and the new season comes galloping over the horizon. It has already been a frenzied couple of months in the transfer market but there is now just one month until the window closes with clubs scrapping to improve their squads ahead of the summer deadline on September 1.
