Multiple police officers fired their weapon after a man in his 30s who is accused of robbery refused to drop his gun, authorities said.

Houston police have arrested an 18-year-old suspect in the shooting of Alberto Navez-Ortiz after nearly two years.

An assistant chief for the Houston Police Department says the man who was shot, who was in his 30s, was spotted in a vehicle believed to be connected to a Sunday evening robbery in the Bellaire and Kirkwood area.
