Donald Trump's public approval has dropped to its lowest level in months, according to newly released polling data. The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that Trump's approval rating has dropped to 40 percent, with 56 percent disapproving, giving him a net approval rating of -16 points.

President Trump’s net job approval rating reached its lowest point of his second term in the latest Economist/YouGov poll. Trump’s net approval rating is 15 points underwater — with 55 percent of surveyed Americans disapproving of the president’s performance in office and 40 percent approving.

Not only does Biden fare better than Trump in net approval rating among all U.S. adults, but the former president also enjoyed more support among his own party than Trump is doing now with the GOP, the poll found. Trump has a +74 approval rating among Republicans, near his second-term low point of +72, the survey showed.
