April 8 solar eclipse: Path of totality likely to be narrower than NASA’s estimates
On April 8, the eclipse will start its path over North America over the South Pacific Ocean. At 11:07 am PT (2:07 pm ET), the eclipse is predicted to reach its first point of totality on Mexico’s Pacific coast. It is anticipated to conclude at 5:16 pm local time (3:46 pm ET) on the Atlantic shore of Newfoundland.
