The Foo Fighters were booked for the 2022 Jazz Fest, only to cancel a month out following drummer Taylor Hawkins’ shocking death. Josh Freese, who has drummed for Nine Inch Nails, the Offspring and Devo, among many others, now occupies the drum chair. “He made it possible for us to come out and play tonight,” Grohl said.
