Royal Caribbean International has suspended stops at private destination Labadee in Haiti through the summer amid continued violence in the country.

Royal Caribbean will cancel cruise trips to Labadee, Haiti, until at least September due to ongoing violence in the country, according to a report.

Royal Caribbean has cancelled all stops to Labadee, the cruise line’s private port, due to continued gang violence in Haiti, according to post on the Royal Caribbean Blog. While Royal Caribbean canceled stops to the private beach from March through May earlier this year, that directive has now been extended through September, according to the blog.

Several additional months of Royal Caribbean visits to Labadee, Haiti, are now being cancelled due to ongoing unrest.
