The Twisted Hinoki Cypress is a beautiful and exotic shrub for any garden. It is easy to grow, yet it brings quality and uniqueness to the space it grows in. This plant will grow into a broad upright shrub, reaching 5 feet in 10 years, and eventually 10 or more feet in height. It is almost as broad as it is tall, and makes an imposing specimen among other shrubs, as an isolated specimen, or as part of a collection of exotic conifers. As it is slower growing, it can also be used in planter boxes and containers, where its special qualities can be appreciated close up. The normal foliage of the Hinoki cypress is soft and full, but in the Twisted form it is pressed close to the stems, which twist around in all directions. Often the ends of the branches are flattened and ridged, like cockscombs. This exciting foliage gives the tree a very special texture and turns the ordinary into something unique. - Exciting twisted foliage with cockscombs - Grows into a broad full shrub - Beautiful and interesting in any garden - Easily grown and drought resistant - Beautiful garden specimen or container plant The Twisted Hinoki Cypress will grow in any well-drained garden soil.
