Halo 75WDG Select is a selective, post-emergent herbicide. Its active ingredient is halosulfuron-methyl. Each pouch contains 1-1/3 ounce of granular herbicide. Halo 75WDG Select controls various sedge species, including purple and yellow nutsedge. It also suppresses Kyllinga and certain broadleaf weeds, including horsetail and ragweed. This product is perfect for residential and commercial applications. Apply as a post-emergent to turf and landscape areas where weeds are actively growing. Halo 75WDG is safe for use around turfgrass, established ornamentals, shrubs, and trees. This product is gentle to labeled cool and warm-season turfgrasses. Allow these grasses to establish before application. Low use rates make Halo 75WDG Select an excellent alternative to SedgeHammer. Only 2/3 to 1-1/3 ounces of solution treats up to an acre; see label for mix rates. You can tank mix with non-ionic surfactants for improved penetration.
