Easy-care and elegant, Golden Crocodile is a houseplant with bold, bright, striking leaves. Like other similar varieties (including Pink Princess Philodendron), you may see a lot of variation from leaf to leaf. Encourage good growth by placing it in a spot with bright light, water appropriately, average household temperatures, and average to above-average relative humidity. This super-trendy, easy-care plant sports shades of green leaves in a dazzling shape. Like many other variegated houseplants, it is a relatively slow grower, but makes up for it with big impact. Golden Crocodile Philodendron is grown and shipped fresh from our farm direct to your front door. Ships in a 6-inch self-watering, Wick and Grow. The wick of this planter transfers the right amount of water into the soil. The water reservoir stores water to keep plant hydrated for a longer period. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. CARE FOR YOUR GOLDEN CROCODILE PHILODENDRON IS EASY: Light: Grow Golden Crocodile Philodendron in medium, indirect light. Some plants may burn if placed in direct sunlight. Feeding: Use a 20-20-20 houseplant food at half strength once a month during spring and summer. Pruning/Shaping: Cut back the stems at any time during spring or early summer when the begonia is in its active growth cycle. Trim back the tall stems by up to two-thirds their height. Repotting: Repot your plants when they become root bound. (A houseplant is root bound when roots appear in the soil or begin to escape through drain holes in the pot bottom.) Never repot houseplants using soil from your yard. Outdoor Options: Can grow outdoors year-round as landscaping plants or in containers if protected from winter temperatures.
